Finally, I am going to show at Brooklyn and this time, it will be led by Harlequin&Lionhead! I am very excited about it! Another thing checked off my summer to-do list.

The market is called "Northside Market" and it is one block away from the famous Brooklyn Flea Market by the East River waterfront. It is the latest addition to the various markets of Williamsburg.

Check out this indoor air-conditioned market with great food, music, and great quality handmade products. Then walk over towards the East River waterfront and enjoy the beautiful skyline of Manhattan at the East River State Park south, which is part of the Edge apartment development.

Also featured with me at my table is a very talented illustration artist, Jessica who will have art prints and cards from her shop, Hans My Hedgehog. The theme of the line is "menagerie." Each pencil illustration takes between ten and twenty hours to complete. Come say hi to both of us on Sunday!

Yes, I'm going to have my second craft show in New York. This time it will be the Astoria old beer garden, upstairs of the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden.
The market is named as "The Best Holiday Market in 2010" by Time Out New York. Click here to see what other people say about it.

Take the N or Q train to Astoria Boulevard. Get off at the Northwest Exit and it's a block away.
2) Car
Road-side parking or 2 municipal parking lots on 33rd Street between Ditmars and 23rd Avenue.

What's great at the Astoria Beer Garden:
Bohemian Hall is a full service restaurant and bar/beer garden. Come shop upstairs and hangout downstairs afterwards for a beer ;)

It is the last few great beer gardens in New York. You can order grilled food at the garden or order from the restaurant menu at the restaurant section of Bohemian Hall. There are live music performances or sports on large projector screens. It's great fun for the summer.


Again, I will NOT be able to accept credit cards on premise so please make sure to bring some cash. Or there is an ATM  downstairs inside the hall by the front of the bar. If you prefer to order online now, and come pick up at the show, let me know!

I will have some items that are not available at the shop at the market from Bunnies Can Dream. And a small quantity of items from Harlequin&Lionhead available. The prices at the market will include NY sales tax. I also accept custom orders at the market which will be made and shipped to you 1-2 wks after the show.

My very first craft show!

I'm very excited to announce that my first craft show is coming up on May 1, 2011!

This event is called the Lexington Craft Fair and is hosted by the Lexington School and Center for the Deaf. The event will help support the schools's foundation.

Date: Sunday, May 1

Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Location:
Lexington Soccer Field
25th Avenue between 75th and 73rd Street
Jackson Heights, NY

Rain Date:
May 7 same time same location. If the event is pushed because of weather, I'll notify you the morning of May 1.

The location is accessible by:
1) Subway
Get off at Roosevelt Avenue Jackson Heights station on E,F,R,M / 74th street and Broadway on 7 and walk for about 26 minutes
2) Bus
Q47, Q32, Q49 and walk over.
3) Car
Parking is available opposite to the event at the Bulova Corporate Center.

Nearby the location is Bed, Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Modell's and Pio Pio.
ATM machine is also available 2 blocks away at Chase or Sovereign Bank. I don't accept credit card so bring some cash! ;)

Finally I took some time to tweak my blog and planning on rolling out a series of editorial changes. It takes a lot of effort to execute this but I know I owe you all this.
