Sneak Peak - My new necklace, The Jelly Fish

My latest creation is a prelude to summer.

The Jelly Fish necklace combines beautiful lampwork glass, smoky swarovski rondelle crystals, antique looking brass findings and chain to inspire a mysterious deep sea day dream.

The necklace, which is an open-ended 42-inch necklace including the tassels, can be worn however you want. Let it hang like a scarf around your neck, tie it into a knot, or wear it short to accentuate your neckline...it's a statement necklace that does not shout, but quietly sings.

Debuting on my Etsy store this weekend. Another underwater dream of the bunnies that dream.

Thank you email from a customer! :D

Getting a "+" feedbacks is probably nothing to brag about. But what really makes a jewelry maker happy is a personal thank you note from your customer.

If you are reading this as a customer and you really appreciate a seller, don't just only leave a "+" but also send a note. You cannot imagine the joy on the receiving end!!

"Deb,
I opened my gift this weekend and I wanted to say Thank You very much for the beautiful bracelet that you made, that my husband purchased. I thought the little "Made With Love" tag was great, and Brad is going to try to attach it to the bracelet for me. The bracelet is beautiful and because of its clear color I can wear it with anything, which will make it one of my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry. :)

Many thanks!
Brenda"

Thank you too~I will try my best to bring more beautiful jewelry to you all!

Obsessive compulsive macrame addiction!

Sea Moss - Macrame bracelet

Introducing another macrame bracelet - Sea Moss.

Skipped work and stayed home, with 8 hours of Bravo reality shows in the background on TV, made with beautiful ice blue thread and moss green glass seed beads, I present you the latest of my macrame series. I just love the color combination. Reminds me of a forgotten lake sparkling in the sun...

Sea Moss - macrame bracelet

Different from the Secret Garden lace bracelet in my earlier post, this time the flat knots are combined with rectangular seed beads to accentuate the diamond pattern.

Sea Moss - macrame bracelet

Instead of the understated elegance presented in the Secret Garden, the Sea Moss bracelet is more contemporary looking. The metalic reflection of the beads makes Sea Moss a great piece for day or evening wear.

More to come in my etsy store ;)

Secret Garden - the latest addition to my Macrame series

Secret Garden - Macrame Bracelet by NikishaI'm totally obsessed with micro macrame recently. The traditional image of Chinese or Indian macrame really is not what I have in mind. Combining simple materials like threads and beads, colors and textures, beautiful designs come to life with a lot of personality! True to the spirit of Bunnies Can Dream, the new line of micro macrame carries the romantic imaginations that are private to the wearer but unique to the rest of the world.

Secret Garden - Macrame Bracelet by NikishaMy new creative - Secreat Garden Bracelet - is a great example. A perfect little lace bracelet that is elegant but understated at first glance. But when you turn it to the light, the green in the maroon-colored beads appear in between the lacing like a secret revealed to only attentive eyes.

Line of Macrame Rings

I am excited to introduce my new line of macrame rings!

Eggplant RingLavender Garden Ring

Moving on from the hoop earrings, here are two new rings that use the square knot sinnet. These are actually little accidents as I was planning on making some earrings with the theme of vegetation in mind. Somehow one thing leads to another and the Eggplant ring was created. I love the intricate lacing of threads and the very rustic look of the thai silver ascent.

So I went on to creating the reversed color combination - this time green being more dominating and voila! the Lavender ring came to life. Don't these little rings look like faery rings?
